, an ancient snake species discovered in Colombia, سانپ کی ایک قدیم نسل کولمبیا میں دریافت ہوئی , an ancient snake species discovered in Colombia, dating back to around 58 to 60 million years ago. Titanoboa was an enormous serpent, reaching lengths of up to 15 meters and weighing about 2,500 pounds, making it the largest known snake in Earth's history. Its existence was during a time of warmer, more tropical climates. The only known species of Titanoboa is Titanoboa cerrejonensis. These colossal fossils shed light on ancient ecosystems and the evolution of reptiles. The size and shape of the fossilized remains indicate that Titanoboa cerrejonensis was estimated to be about 13 meters long, around 1,135 kilograms, and roughly a meter wide at its thickest point. The discovery of 28 individuals of T. cerrejonensis in coal mines at Cerrejón in northern Colombia in 2009 shed significant light on these ancient reptiles' characteristics and habitats in South America.
